Cuba Good, USA Bad

High comedy from the CBC, hat tip to “The Way the Ball Bounces“.

Yes, who needs religious/political/thought freedom for a good quality of life? I mean, if you gots the cheap stogies, what else, really, do you need?

Two Brutal Slayings in My Backyard…

Published by Shane under Family, Mundanity, close to home

One has left bloodstains on my kitchen floor as the corpse was dragged inside for unknown reasons as yet. Interviews will be conducted later to determine the motive of the latest slaying.

Tim the SLAYER!He has grey hair, a white moustache, and prefers white socks and gloves. His given name was Tim the Enchanter, but now he has been renamed…

Tim the SLAYER! YES! Two rats lie dead at his paws! Formerly he was a mild-mannered housecat, content to live and let live. But he has found his inner warrior and now he stalks the fences of our neighbourhood, seeking out the rats who plague our existence and ENDING theirs! Ha HA!

Fear his wrath! Yes… you can see the fury in his eyes can’t you? His inner rage and hunger for slaughter is so great that even as you stroke his fur, he drools in anticipation of his next kill!

1000 Year Old Book of Psalms Found - Open to Psalm 83

Really old copy of the Bible - cool.
Really old copy of the Bible found in Ireland - cooler.
Really old copy of the Bible found in Ireland, open to Psalm 83:

1 O God, do not keep silent;
be not quiet, O God, be not still.

2 See how your enemies are astir,
how your foes rear their heads.

3 With cunning they conspire against your people;
they plot against those you cherish.

4 “Come,” they say, “let us destroy them as a nation,
that the name of Israel be remembered no more.”

5 With one mind they plot together;
they form an alliance against you-

6 the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites,
of Moab and the Hagrites,

7 Gebal, Ammon and Amalek,
Philistia, with the people of Tyre.

8 Even Assyria has joined them
to lend strength to the descendants of Lot.

Let’s see… follow the links above and you find those place names approximating to Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq and Iran, with parts of the Palestinian territories thrown in. Hm. Coincidence?

Coolest.

Comments are back!

Published by Shane under Geekery, close to home

After getting absolutely sick to death of comment spam, I am trying something new. Bad Behaviour piqued my interest, so I will try it out for a week and see if any comment spam strikes. Comments are now open! Enjoy! And just in time for a spike in my posting frequency.

Oh yeah, and enjoy the new theme. I will be adding in my blogrolls shortly.

Outgames - They Can’t Compete With Heteros?

Published by Shane under Mundanity, Political, Sports

Sometimes I wish kd Lang would just shut up. Or go away. Or something.

I mean, really. It is ignorant for the Federal Government to show up grinning at the stupidly concieved “Outgames“? I don’t think so. We are talking about an event for people who have no handicap, who should have no reason why they cannot compete in the Olympics, having their own “special” olympics. What were they thinking in making this up? I mean it creates a perception that homoosexuals have some kind of handicap that prevents them from competing with heterosexuals. It also creates a perception that homosexuals are not welcome to compete at the Olympics. As far as I know, they are. If they weren’t you can be sure that homosexuals everywhere would be protesting the “bigoted” IOC for forbidding their participation. Since that isn’t happening I think I am safe in saying they are welcome. Continue Reading »

Vigilantes Attack Drug Dealers, Burn Down Their House

Published by Shane under Political, close to home, what the???

…trying to not sound jubilant…

A crackdown on crime nationally is certainly needed. Though I do not condone the actions of these people, I admire the way they stand up for their community against criminals who seek to corrupt their neighbours and children.

UPDATE: Linkage on the subject by some other bloggers: Continue Reading »

Dutch Bestiality/Pedophilia Political Party

Published by Shane under Just Wrong, Political, the latest dirt

As reported by Lifesite News:

Norbert DeJonge, secretary of the party told CNS that the party’s only moral criterion for justifying sex with children or animals is consent. “Let’s take a child that isn’t able to speak. Just like an animal — even a baby is able to smile or to cry when it respectively doesn’t like something or does like something,” DeJonge said.

“So the question is not whether an animal or a child can show its resentment or give its consent. The question is whether the adult will notice the expression of the animal or the child and what its feelings are.”

So, let me get this straight. Continue Reading »

Christian Dhimmi Behaviour

Published by Shane under Deepness, History, Spirit

So I took a wander from thepolitic who was excited about Little Green Footballs‘ comments praising Stephen Harper, to a note in the comments about Michelle Malkin’s highlighting of rumblings in Indonesia against their Miss Universe candidate who dared to enter the swimsuit competition and may have shamed Islam by her participation. From there I found a very interesting summarization of how Christians behave under the persecution of Islam. I quote it here for your edification.

ACTIVE RESISTANCE
Recent examples of active resistance are noteworthy. The repression of the Christian rebellion against the establishment of sharia in the Sudan in 1983 caused more than two million dead and over four million displaced. Lebanese Christians fought against the Islamization of their country during the civil war that began in 1975. At the dawn of the 20th century, Armenian and Assyrian Christians were punished by genocide for their attempts at independence. In the present day, active Christian resistance against Islamization in Indonesia, Nigeria, and other African countries is manifest in the massacre of Christian civilians, the burning of villages, the flight of populations. Westerners, and especially Europeans, turn a deaf ear to the sufferings of Christians who actively resist Islamization, frequently blaming them for their own misfortunes. Continue Reading »

Who Educates Society? Mom.

Published by Shane under Deepness, Political

Reading about feminism’s move to coerce women into the workforce, it got me to thinking. Scary when that happens eh?

The idea that the only possible way women can exert meaningful influence on a society is to join the “ruling elite”, and so forego their reproductive rights and their desire for family is simply wrong. It denies a far more powerful role in shaping society. It seems that feminism has forgotten what motherhood’s purpose is - to teach, instruct and mould the following generation.

Think about it - how is it going to help the plight of women having some more powerskirts in parliament screeching the party line? It doesn’t, really. They simply become one more voice in the cacophony of special interests, and if there is one thing the homosexual lobby is teaching us, it is you don’t need numbers to exert an influence far beyond your portion of society’s pie. A Middle Eastern Conversation

Published by Shane under Amuse Me, Political, fiction

The following scene may have played out approximately 60 days ago, at an undisclosed location in Tel Aviv. These events are conjecture based on this announcement.

ISRAELI CLERK
There’s a call for you, sir.

INTERNAL SECURITY BUREAUCRAT
Who is it?

ISRAELI CLERK
He says he is a representative of Islam.

IS BUREAUCRAT
Oh no, not another suicide bomber.

CLERK
Actually, he doesn’t sound suicidal or insane sir.

IS BUREAUCRAT
What? I don’t believe it!

CLERK
Hear for yourself sir. Here. (Hands over the Telephone) Continue Reading »
