I Had A Feeling…
When I first heard that Iran was introducing legislation to require the wearing of armbands to designate religious minorities, I was skeptical. It sounded like a slanderous rumour to me. But when it was reported by some news agencies who seemed to have sources, I believed it.
Evidently I was not the only one who was fooled. Even Stephen Harper was fooled. Now I don’t feel so alone. Interesting that you cannot find anything about “Iran armbands” on the National Post’s website today…
The conspiracy theorist in me thought this could be an effort to build a case for war against Iran. If proven, not much else could galvanize the world into action like a baby Hitler. However, despite vicious and blatant statements calling for the destruction of Israel, I thought there was no way that Iran’s President was that stupid. I guess he really isn’t.
