A chiropracter wants my husband to take “Alka Green Typical Analysis” is it legit?
My husband has a super tight leg/back muscle and went to a chiro. for the 1st time. She just used Eastern meditation while touching him and suggested a vitamin that’s expensive.
Not all chiropractors are full of crap. When I had a dislocated sternoclavicular joint with swelling and pain, the orthopedic surgeon I went to said he couldn’t see anything wrong, and the CT scan he ordered was read as normal. After spending a month with conventional doctors only to be told that they couldn’t see anything wrong, I was recommended to a chiropractor who took one look at it and said it was out of place. After a couple of months of treatments, he was the only one who helped me to work it back into place.
Now, taking expensive vitamins will not help your husband’s back. What he needs to do is see his doctor, try some antiinflammatories and muscle relaxers, if that doesn’t help he should do a spine x-ray to check for any bony abnormalities, and do some physical therapy stretching and strengthing exercises. You mentioned that his back and leg muscles are tight, so he probably needs a stretching program designed for him, the best person to do that would be a physical therapist.
