Alpha Meditation Music

Anyone have any experiences with brainwave therapy?

I was recently informed about something called brainwave therapy. From what I understand, it is music that contains pulses of various waves, such as theta, alpha, gamma, etc, and they are said to synchronize with your brain, causing it to achieve the same state of consciousness that you would achieve naturally through many years of meditation practice. I’ve read that this allows you to enter a deep state of meditation, even if you’ve never meditated before, giving you instant access to your subconscious mind, leaving you enlightened and balanced. So my question is, has anyone ever done this? I would like to hear some experiences before I go out and purchase one of these cd’s.

No, it’s just another of the hippy, trippy nonsense invented to extract money from you.
